A Parcel for Anna Browne by Miranda Dickinson

A Parcel for Anna Browne by Miranda Dickinson

The gift of a lifetime?

Anna Browne is an ordinary woman living an ordinary life. Her day job as a receptionist in bustling London isn’t exactly her dream, yet she has everything she wants. But someone thinks Anna Browne deserves more . . .

When a parcel addressed to Anna Browne arrives, she has no idea who has sent it. Inside she finds a beautiful gift – one that is designed to be seen. And so begins a series of incredible deliveries, each one bringing Anna further out of the shadows and encouraging her to become the woman she was destined to be. As Anna grows in confidence, others begin to notice her – and her life starts to change.

But who is sending the mysterious gifts, and why?

Being reunited with the words of Miranda Dickinson is like opening your presents on Christmas morning and discovering the thing you’ve wanted the most!

Her words always manage to bring such joy and pleasure whilst also delivering a heartfelt message through the pages, and A Parcel For Anna Browne is no exception.

In fact I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK! I love everything about it, from the incredibly beautiful cover to the fabulous characters within.

The story follows Anna Browne a receptionist from Cornwall who has moved to London.
Despite working for a newspaper Anna finds her life isn’t on the exciting side but then one day she signs for a beautifully wrapped parcel that happens to be addressed to her…

As the first of many gifts arrive Anna finds herself starting to change, who is her mystery gift giver and why have they chosen her?

I always find Miranda’s characters easy to relate to and that is because Miranda writes her characters with so much passion that you can feel everything they are going through.

Anna is one of those characters that you Instantly like, she is very easy to relate to and there is something heart warming about watching her evolve through the pages as she starts to realise her self worth!

Besides Anna one of my other favourite characters came in the form of Ted Blaskiewicz, oh how I ordered him.

One of the other things I adored about this book is the message it delivers. There is something life affirming about a story that allows the characters to evolve whilst also bringing about a transformation in the reader.
An absolute must read!

I am really looking forward to starting this. 4 review books to do first. The joys of a guest reviewer on blogs.
