Getting ready for Sunshine!

Now that spring has finally sprung the promise of sunshine and the warmer weather is just around the corner.

From holidays to picnics in the park, summer brings with it many al-fresco events that I want to look and feel my best for, so that is why I am preparing to get Summer ready.  With the 1st of June marking the official start of Summer, there really isn’t time to waste.

My Steps for Summer prep

Healthy eating and exercise

As you know I have already started my journey to a better body for Summer. This involves me following a healthy food regime and upping my exercise levels.

With leisurely walks in the springtime and dancing the night away with friends, there are lots of ways to increase your energy levels gradually.

Keep Hydrated

Water is a key ingredient in any season. Your body is made up of 60% fluid, which helps with digestion, absorption, the creation of saliva, circulation, transportation of nutrients, and the maintenance of body temperature. This is why your water intake should be at least 6-8 glasses per day.

Skincare regime

The colder months have taken their toll on your skin, so now it is time to swap out the heavier moisturisers and foundations for water-based formulas and tinted moisturisers. Want to give your skin a natural glow then make sure you look at moisturisers that have added vitamin C.

And don’t forget to exfoliate as this will help with making sure your tan is even and your skin is summer ready.

Summer Wardrobe

For me, a good spring clean means tidying everything especially my wardrobe. A good clothes detox isn’t just good for finding space but if you are money savvy and sell your old clothes on eBay you can hit the shops guilt-free when the summer clothes are in stores.

Hair removal

Do you find that you spend a small fortune on regular waxing sessions, then maybe it is time to consider a more permanent solution and give laser hair removal a try?

Laser hair removal is the deliberate removal of body hair using the technology of laser. With hair generally growing all over the human body, some hair may be fine and barely noticeable. But unfortunately, other areas have thicker, more prominent hair. Laser hair removal targets the thicker tougher hair.
