Confess by Colleen Hoover

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry. For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

I don’t know how she does it but Colleen Hoover always manages to evoke so much emotion from within the pages. Confess is a beautiful story of two people who come into each other’s lives at a time when they need it the most. But for Auburn and Owen there are many obstacles in their way.

I wish I knew where to start, I want to tell you about the sizzling chemistry between Auburn and Owen, I want you to know how great Emoury is and how annoying Trey and Lydia are but most of all I want you to know how incredible this whole story is.

The concept of a gallery that is filled with pictures depicting people’s confessions really got me thinking, the whole Idea of someone taking a confession and making it visible just fascinates me. Not to mention the fact that within the book we are lucky enough to see some beautiful artwork depicting the true confessions present throughout the story.

I love absolutely everything Hoover has written but something about this seemed extra special, maybe it’s the unique way in which she has formed the story or just the Idea of these true confessions, either way I must confess I LOVED IT!
